Black Hole - ScienceNerds

Black Hole is a Region in Spacetime where Gravity is so strong that no object can escape through it, Not even LIGHT (having rest mass as zero).

The presence of such an object was first predicted back in the late 1700s, by  Karl Schwarzschildwho developed the idea of the presence of Blackhole using Einstein's general relativityAccording to the theory of general relativity a sufficiently compact mass can bend spacetime to form a black hole. The matter that compressed to a point known as singularity be enclosed in space from which nothing could Escape, the border of this region is called Event Horizon - said by Schwarzschild.

Schwarzschild radius is the limit for the physical size of an object with respect to its mass. Theoretically, a black hole can be formed by compressing any mass, provided it should satisfy the  Schwarzschild radius. For Example, SUN should be compressed to the radius size of 3km keeping the mass same to become a Blackhole, as the mass increase in a smaller area, the gravity increases gradually, at a point the gravity gets so strong that not even a single ray of light could be able to pass through it and that point of the radius is known as Schwarzschild radius.

The Schwarzschild radius(  ) is given as

Where G  is the Gravitational constant
M  is the mass of Object in kilograms
and  c  is the speed of light in meters per second

As the mass increases at a point on space-time it results in bending of the space-time creating the spacetime curvatures leading to black hole formation over the time

QUESTIONS TO THINK ON:
 * Where does a Blackhole Lead to?
*  how long would it take to eat the entire Earth, If the Blackhole is present at the centre of our Milky Way?
* What are white Holes, do they exist?!!!
